Twelve years in the Royal Marines teaches you two things: how to execute a plan with limited resources, and how to tell the difference between activity and results. SEO agencies produce a lot of activity. Most of it doesn't move the grid.

After leaving the military, I ran SEO campaigns for local service businesses across the US, Canada, and the UK. Trades with the same core problem as HVAC: local customers, high-intent searches, a Map Pack that decides who gets the call, and a market full of competitors spending on agencies that send reports full of impressions and "we're building brand awareness."

That work taught me the exact disciplines that move a local service business in the Map Pack: GBP optimisation done properly, citation hygiene, review velocity, location pages with real content, and links that are actually relevant. The methodology works. I've run it for service businesses across three countries.

HVAC is the same pattern, with higher ticket values, stronger seasonal demand, and a market where most contractors are still invisible online. The SEO agencies that do target HVAC are either generalists with an HVAC vertical or offshore operations running the same template for every contractor. Neither builds anything durable.

We're UK-based and serve US and UK contractors. US client calls happen on US business hours. If you're in Texas or Ohio and you want to talk in the morning, that works.

Every campaign runs off a documented playbook. The same steps, in the same order, every time. Not because it's rigid, but because what works is repeatable and what's repeatable can be improved.

AI-Assisted Research

We use AI for content research, keyword clustering, and competitor analysis. Not to generate filler content, but to do in two hours what used to take a week. The output is checked, edited, and published with accuracy as the standard.

Rank Grid Reporting

Every report starts with the rank grid: where you appear across your service area today vs. where you started. Grid positions, not impressions. Calls generated, not sessions. You see the thing that matters.

Month to Month

3-month minimum, then rolling monthly with 30 days' notice. We earn your continued investment by moving your rankings, not by having you locked in. If the grid isn't moving, you should be able to leave.

HVAC-Only Focus

We don't take clients outside HVAC. Not plumbing, not electrical, not general contractors. HVAC only. That focus means we understand your seasonal peaks, your service area dynamics, and your customers' search behaviour better than a generalist ever will.

US-Hours Availability

Based in the UK, but US clients are a priority. Strategy calls, email, and reporting all work on US Central or Eastern time. If you're in the midwest or east coast and want a morning call, that's the standard not the exception.

What We Won't Do

These aren't sales-page points. They're constraints we operate under because each one has a good reason behind it.

12-Month Lock-In Contracts

We ask for 3 months because results need time to build. After that, it's rolling monthly. Long contracts exist to protect the agency, not the client. We don't need them if we're delivering.

Invented or Embellished Case Studies

Every case study we publish will be verified against real rank grid screenshots and real call tracking data. We have results from other local service businesses we're using to demonstrate the methodology. We don't have HVAC case studies yet. We say that plainly rather than invent them.

Vanity Reports Full of Impressions

Monthly reports cover rank grid movement, calls attributed to organic, GBP performance, and what's planned for next month. If impressions are up but calls aren't, we say so and explain why. You don't pay us to feel good about a graph.

Clients Outside HVAC

If you're not a heating and cooling contractor, we're not the right fit. We don't take on adjacent trades to fill the calendar. Focus is the point.
